SPECIAL ORDER AGREEMENT

Special Order Agreement between Customer and House to Home
This serves as a confirmation of your (the customer’s) agreement to our Special Order terms and provisions. Special Order items are those that we are specifically ordering, on your behalf. Please review the following agreement as it serves as a binding contract. All special order items are final sale once the order has been placed. Payment is made in full at the time the order is placed. If you placed this order mistakenly or need to cancel for any reason, please contact info@housetohomefw.com or call (260)267-0620 ASAP. We DO NOT guarantee that we will be able to cancel the order, but we will make an honest effort.

LEAD TIMES
Please note that all quoted lead times are estimates and are not binding. Product availability is subject to change at no fault of House to Home. We understand this can be frustrating, but due to the nature of frequently changing lead times we will not be held responsible and no discount or compensation will be offered if product availability changes. We will inform you of any lead time changes that we become aware of, in a timely manner. The notification will NOT serve as acceptance of any fault or responsibility, and no compensation will be offered.

PRODUCT VARIANCE
Please note, that product colors may differ slightly from how it appears on your screen due to varying monitor settings. In addition, fabric varies from dye lot to dye lot, so please understand an exact match cannot be guaranteed. Wood finishes are also subject to a 10% color variation within the finished product due to being applied by hand in most cases. These variances are normal and will not be considered cause for a claim or compensation.

PRODUCT FIT
It is up to the buyer to ensure that the product will fit inside entry points and will fit properly in the space for which item(s) are purchased. Under no circumstance will House to Home be held responsible if the piece does not fit into the buyer’s home or designated space. If this situation occurs, and the customer wishes to return the item, customers are subject to a 40% restocking fee pending approval from House to Home. We do not guarantee that we will be able to accept a return but will do our best to accommodate, less a 40% restock fee. 

INSPECTION, REVIEW, & FINAL SALE
We personally double inspect every item to ensure that it meets our quality standards before contacting you to schedule pickup or delivery. Once we contact you, you have a ONE WEEK REVIEW PERIOD in which you can come to House to Home and conduct a FINAL IN-PERSON REVIEW before accepting. During this one week review period, if you are unsatisfied for any reason whether buyer’s remorse or product is just not up to your standards, we will refund less a 20% restocking fee. This serves as your official acknowledgement, understanding, and agreement that you are obligated to a final in-person review within one week from notification of arrival. If you choose to waive the review, or fail to respond & schedule your review within the allotted time period, you are waiving your right to any claim or refund and the item(s) will be considered final sale. Once the ONE WEEK REVIEW PERIOD has expired, it's considered final sale and no returns, refunds, exchanges, or discounts will be accepted. Once the item(s) leaves our warehouse, it's considered final sale and no returns, refunds, exchanges, or discounts will be accepted. 

We understand purchasing items sight unseen can be scary, and this final, in-person review is our gesture to give you that peace of mind that you can touch, see, feel, sit on, etc before final acceptance. However, as a small business we cannot accept the entire financial burden of a return. The 20% restock fee helps to share the burden and responsibility. Therefore, we encourage you to do your due diligence, get product samples when available, research product reviews, and most of all contact us for more product information. We are genuinely rooting for you to LOVE your product and are here to help guide you.

IMPERFECTIONS & WARRANTIES
Should you discover any damage or imperfections after you have accepted the item(s), without notating on the pickup or delivery inspection sheet, House to Home will not be able to file a claim with the appropriate company and you will not be compensated. House to Home will only accept responsibility for processing a claim on defective or damaged products if it is determined to be a manufacturing issue, within the manufacturer’s allotted claim period.

DELIVERY & STORAGE
Items will be received at our warehouse. We will hold furnishings for up to one week after the review period (two weeks in total from the time it is delivered to our warehouse) to accommodate for scheduling pickup or delivery. Item(s) must leave our warehouse within two weeks from the time it is delivered. After that, a 2% daily storage fee will be incurred and must be paid prior to pickup or delivery.

Checking the acknowledgement box and proceeding with payment serves as acknowledgement that you have read, understand and agree to the terms and provisions of this Special Order Agreement.

Effective as of February 5, 2024
